Pedja Kovačević is a Serbian-born musicologist, concert producer, and music producer who founded the Soundologia platform. He has extensive experience in music education, music business, and audio production. As a musicologist and writer, Kovačević has published articles on music and presented studies at international conferences and forums in the U.S., Poland, Greece, and Serbia. His writings explore the relationship between music and other art forms, such as painting, architecture, poetry, prose, and photography. The concept of Deep Listening, invented by the American composer Pauline Oliveros, brought Pedja to the niche of experimental and electro-acoustic music. On the Soundologia podcast, Kovačević invites composers and artists to discuss their works, projects, and the technology they use. As a sound designer, he has created multiple projects and showcased his music at various events in Serbia and US. Kovačević has also taught a course on experimental and electro-acoustic music at FIU’s School of Music, where he supervised concerts and managed sound and tech responsibilities. Additionally, he has held positions as a program coordinator, music educator, and administrator at different music and arts schools in Miami.
